How to upload and edit a doc on canva?
You read that right!! PDFs can be uploaded to Canva. Why would you want to upload a PDF to Canva? You may have a document that you or someone created, but it just isn’t all that nice looking or may need a text/graphic change. Canva is the perfect place for you to add photos and format the pdf in a more pleasing, professional way.
How do you upload a pdf?
1. Log in to your Canva account and click on the “upload” button
2. Either drop or find the file to upload.
3. Click the open button, you will see a file-importing tab at the top
4. You can see the uploaded document in the “Recent Designs” section of Canvas dashboard. Click on it to open the document.
Canva will match the font if possible. Once your PDF is uploaded, you can add photos, change photos, change the text, fonts, and more. I have been able to use this feature to save myself a lot of time when working with clients.
Things you need to know.
You can import PDFs with up to 300 pages.
You can import PDFs of up to 70MB in size.
If your PDF has both text and images, Canva breaks them up for editing purposes.
If your PDF is a scan of documents or designs, it can only be processed as a flat or merged image. Its text or design elements can’t be broken up for editing.
